Your Teacher: Linda Bearman - Voiceover Coach

Linda Bearman brings 30+ years of experience in the Voiceover industry and nearly a lifetime in the Performing Arts to her business. She currently coaches Voiceover actors, from the aspiring to those well entrenched in successful careers. Linda's focus is on teaching the fundamentals of the craft of Voiceover while applying the most current trends into the mix, in the areas of commercial, character/animation, narration and more. She also focuses on implementing innovative marketing and branding strategies to maximize a voice actor's success.

Linda's introduction to the Performing Arts began at a young age with studies and performances in the US and abroad. She studied acting with members of The National Theatre of Great Britain (UK); RSC (UK); Kim Stanley, Actors Studio (NYC); Robert Alexander, Arena Stage, (Washington D.C.) and attended master classes taught by: Venessa Redgrave, Sir John Gielgud, Harold Pinter, Gregory Peck, Ben Kingsley, Maureen Stapleton, Patrick Stewart and Jane Alexander among others. One of her most memorable stage experiences was acting opposite the Oscar winning famed actress, Greer Garson. After receiving a BFA in Acting, Linda transitioned to Regional Theatre Management work, followed by numerous Production/Casting jobs in the Film and TV industry, primarily in Los Angeles that included; Jeopardy, Oprah Winfrey Show and Wheel of Fortune.

When hired by a prestigious commercial talent agency in Los Angeles, Linda discovered the exciting world of Voiceover.  As a talent agent, she represented voice actors with varying degrees of experience including countless Hollywood celebrities and was recognized for having 'discovered' a few Voiceover superstars. Many years later, Linda left Los Angeles for Park City, UT where she unexpectedly co-founded, owned and operated the Salt Lake City talent agency, TMG, Inc., in it's first ten years of existence. Linda began coaching on a full time basis 10+ years ago. Because she maintains strong ties with colleagues and friends in the Los Angeles market, Linda is guaranteed an exchange of credible current industry knowledge she willingly shares with her Voiceover clientele.
